- Check engine light is on P0345-Camshaft position sensor P420-Cat efficiency low bank 1 ABS codes C1163-Steering angle sensor air fault C1130-Engine fuel cut system fault Tech test drove vehicle 7 miles. Vehicle acted up once. Tech recommends to start by replacing both camshaft position sensors, then rechecking for any additional concerns.
- Tech replaced both camshaft position sensors. Test drove vehicle 10 miles. Vehicle has not acted up and no codes have returned at this time.
- Tech found vehicle has lots of clunk noise in drive train. Front u-joint on rear drive shaft is about to brake. Need to recommend replacing this u-joint. Tech replaced front u-joint on rear drive shaft, after removing rear drive shaft, tech also found that the rear u-joint on rear drive shaft was bad as well. Tech replaced both u-joints on rear drive shaft as needed. On the rear u-joint on rear drive shaft, the caps did not fit as tight as the tech would like, they seem to be okay at this time, but vehicle may need a rear drive shaft replacement in the future.
