Steering code C0545-Steering wheel torque input sensor After further diagnosis tech found steering wheel torque input sensor is bad. Tech recommends to start by replacing steering wheel torque input sensor then rechecking for any additional concerns.
Tech does recommend both front lower control arms be replaced. Vehicle also needs 2 tires.
Tech found nail in right rear tire, tech removed nail and plugged tire as needed.
Tech mounted and balance right front tire and rotated both left side tires. Informed customer to get another tire on vehicle and align vehicle as soon as possible.
Tech replaced both lower control arms on vehicle. Due to spare tire being on vehicle and not having 2 good tires. Tech is unable to complete the alignment on vehicle. Tech recommends to replace 2 tires on vehicle so we can get spare of vehicle to be able to perform alignment. Customer brought in tire for us to mount and balance. Still need to get left front tire replaced due to it being bald. Customer is going to get another tire from another location. Vehicle still needs an alignment. (customer supplied part, informed customer we are unable to pass of a parts and labor warranty on this repair)
Tech replaced power steering whee input torque sensor as needed. and re-calibrated system. (customer supplied part, informed customer we are unable to pass of a parts and labor warranty on this repair)

Inspection found the intake VVT solenoid was bad and causing the acceleration issue and check engine light. Recommended replacing the intake and exhaust VVT solenoids together. Replaced both solenoids and cleared the CEL. Vehicle is running good now and light is off.

Found brake vibration is coming from the front and rear rotors. Vehicle had 40% pad life left. Rotors warped badly. Customer elected to do brakes at this time to address the brake vibration. – Replaced pads and rotors on both axles.
Inspection found the front sway bar links were broke. Recommended and replaced both front sway bar links.
Replaced front brake pads and front brake rotors as needed. Clean and lubricate brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Check and fill brake fluid. Road test vehicle.
Replaced rear brake pads and rear brake rotors as needed. Clean and lubricate brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Check and fill brake fluid. Road test vehicle.
Replaced both front sway bar links.

Tech found front right tire is damaged. Right front wheel is bent on inner part of wheel. Tech recommends put this wheel on back. Customer will possibly need a new wheel due to wheel being bent if they notice in vibration when rotating that wheel to front.
Left front tire possibly has slow leak.
Tech found re circulation actuator was making noise. Tech recommends to replace re circulation actuator.
Tech mounted and balance 2 front tires. (Customer supplied tires. No labor warranty)
Performed alignment service. Front left toe is partial out of spec. In order to get it within alignment specifications tech would recommend front strut assemblies.
Tech replaced re circulation actuator as needed. Noise is gone.
